      Target: Any Enemy

      Mana: 30-40 (+2)

A highly popular spell (mainly among non-spellcasters), 'fireball' conjures hot balls of fire which the spellcaster can throw upon any living target, often burning down buildings and homes, which is why it is so popular, word of the destructive force of the spell spread by the occasional rumor of some poor soul who lost his house and crops to a misfired 'fireball'.

Despite it's popularity among the non-spellcasters, mages will often prefer other offensive spells. 'Fireball' costs an enormous amount of mana to produce, and although it's destructive force is greater, equally damaging spells are more economical. Casting 'fireball' can cause a mage to become tired before the end of a long battle, which will seriously impede on the outcome of battles.
